This Privacy Policy describes how Köy Mobil (“App”), developed by Mustafa YILDIZ (“Service Provider”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), collects, uses, and protects your information. The App provides community services for villages, associations, and local organizations, including news, announcements, events, and member communication.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. The service is provided “AS IS”.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Profile photo and photos or videos you upload
  • User-generated content (news, announcements, events, listings, messages, and other posts)
  • Community or village membership preferences (city, district, neighborhood selection)

b) Location information

The App collects precise location data only when you voluntarily use the “Share Location” feature while signed in. We do not automatically collect your location when you log in or while the App runs in the background.

c) Automatically collected information

  • Device model, operating system version, and app version
  • Installation ID and device identifiers
  • Push notification token (FCM)
  • Usage data (app interactions, session activity, and preferences)
  • Crash and error reports (for troubleshooting and stability)
  • IP address (for server security and access logs)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Account registration, login, and authentication
  • Delivering community content (news, announcements, events, and similar features)
  • Enabling messaging and user-generated content
  • Sending push notifications (if you grant permission)
  • App security, error diagnosis, and performance improvement
  • Displaying advertisements (as described below)
  • Complying with legal obligations

3. Advertising and Tracking

The App may display ads through Google AdMob to help keep the service available at no cost to users. Ads are served in non-personalized mode.

  • The App does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission on iOS.
  • We do not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • AdMob may process limited data under its own privacy policy for ad delivery and measurement.

5. Data Storage and Sharing

  • Your data is stored on servers operated by the Service Provider to deliver the App.
  • Data is shared only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or with your consent.
  • If you delete your account or request deletion, we will attempt to remove your data except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

  • You can update or delete much of your profile information in the App settings
  • You can disable push notifications in your device or App settings
  • Location sharing is used only when you start it and can be stopped at any time

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. The current version will always be available on this page.
